Those who missed the Tech Chip class, but still want to be able to use electronics, we will need to find a time to reschedule. Those who do not have a Tech Chip are not allowed to use electronics at any Troop function or meeting.

We are starting a new Tech Chip, which will allow Scouts and Adults to have and use electronic devices at Scouting functions.

Scouts who have at least 10 nights camping may take the class.

The PLC decided that both Adults and Scouts who wish to have electronics at Scouting functions must take this class. The assigned Tech Chip is good for 1 year. Those who have not taken the class will not be allowed the use of electronics.

The course covers online safety and appropriate use. It includes the BSA Cyber Chip, which is a requirement for the Digital Technology Merit Badge
